This blog is apart of the coursework I am doing for my MRes, with the goal of improving my ability to communicate science. Which in this case, will mean taking recent scientific papers or seminars, and explaining them primarily to scientists from other fields. Though anyone who is simply interested in science is also more than welcome to read, comment and interact with this blog.

My main interest is in microbiology but this blog will cover anything biological which I understand enough to talk about, without just wasting people’s time.
